Holiday Health Fair for Children and Parents in Family Court

Dedra Wade, President and Founder (second from Left) is joined by her staff and MetroPlus Health Insurance managers at a health fair coordinated by Dedra Wade to increase health insurance service for probationers and their children. 120 families (totaling348 individuals) signed up for free and low cost health insurance. The Metro Turkey gave away 100 free turkeys to needy families.

In addition to providing resource and referral services to residents, CPCA, Inc. also provides services to organization and grass root organizers to increase their capacity and the quantity of viable community organizations. The CPCA, Inc Neighborhood Leadership Workshops are held twice each year. The six week course increases the potential of the community based organizations and grass root organizers by increasing their organizational structure, their operational knowledge and potential for funding.

Reaching Our Destiny Through Education." Back to School Event is held annually to celebrate our youth as they begin another school year.

The annual event is a collaboration between CPCA, Inc - Community Partners Commission Assoc., Inc, and The Sabaoth Group, U.S. Department of Justice ENY Weed and Seed and Neighborhood Health Providers (which provided a majority sponsorship for the event).
